Abstract
Mosques for Muslims are understood as sacred and sacred places, as well as space to go to another world and interact with God, besides that the mosque also has social function, where residents meet each other to get to know each other, get closer to their hearts, shake hands, strengthen brotherhood ties, and can ask each other questions about each others circumstances. Is this case it is expected that there will be active participation of the community in congregational prayers in the mosque so as to revive the atmosphere and function of the mosque well. The purpose of this research is to find out how active community participation in congregational prayers in mosque. This research method uses field survey method by distributing questionnaires as many as 100 respondents who have 25 statements per respondenst. And based on this research it was found that there was a significant influence between the role of the community in improving the quality of congregational prayer at Al-Ikhlas Mosque in Rambah Muda.
